About the Author

Florian is an accomplished executive with a distinguished career spanning the global energy industry and the Silicon Valley tech ecosystem. He currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager Energy for a Silicon Valley-based scale-up specializing in AI-driven data security and interoperability. Prior to his current role, Florian spent 15 years in high-impact leadership positions within a major multinational energy company. Notably, as CEO and Managing Director of the corporation’s Silicon Valley innovation and investments arm. His tenure also includes spearheading multi-billion dollar M&A transactions in energy and a massive $2.5 billion corporate performance improvement program.
